Many voters liked fabric #1 but didn't think it showed the actual jade color
Most voters preferred the white fabric because it shows the color the best
and isn't too busy or distracting. Most voters also wrote that they would like to see more color, but now understand why a white fabric has been used, and have felt that the actual bangle they purchased was as shown in the photo, but even more beautiful because the "real thing" is prettier than a photo, and would rather be pleasantly surprised by it being nicer in person, than disappointed because the background made the color not look true. Below are photos of two of my personal jadeite bangle bracelets taken on the fabrics that were submitted. A piece of glass is on top of each photo so that light can get around all areas of the bangle. The light source is natural light. Photos were edited only to adjust brightness of light source. Some fabrics "suck up" the light, and the editing was required. No color editing was done. It's interesting how the translucence of jade makes the bangles look different on each fabric. The first photos on the white background look like "the real thing" as much as a photo can make a three dimensional item look like the real thing.
